what name should I give for my Marimo ?

At this day (next many days) I called him (her?) "marimo".. I told him (her? him? or her? *confusing*) that I would give a name.

But I haven't find something nice ..

Maybe I name him : Jacob? (is a good idea?) for a boy. 

 

Also, I should get a slight bigger jar .. though marimo grow very slow very slow .. but I afraid that I might not able get him out of a tiny jar.

I was so jealous!

So, I decided to grow my "marimo" today.

• Domestic "marimo" grow in tap water at room temperature as long as the water is changed every one or two weeks.  Best to leave overnight due to the chlorine content in the tap water.
• The marimo can be placed in the refrigerator (not the freezer!) in the hot weather (above 25 degree) but does not survive freezing.
• Photosynthesis occurs in normal household lighting, otherwise, indirect sunlight since the marimo is adapted for low light conditions only.

I miss applying "black ink" on my lashes so I shopped around SASA and WATSONS past few days.

Until yesterday, I bought 2 kinds of mascara.  Thanks to GSS (Great Singapore Sale)!  I bought them at special prices.

 

1) Sasa - Super Dolly Powerful Mascara (black) promises to give 3D look, no smudge ...

I opened Super Dolly first.

The brush is alright to use, does make my lashes long and curl .. but 3D eh?  I don't feel 3D.

 

PS: I bought a new laptop and am back to play cafeworld :)

 

Beauty Credit : BB cream and Whitening Sun Cream

finally my pimple has gone ... and don't come back again!

Right, I can wear eye makeup again ... after a horrible week.  Still, I haven't wear eye contact lens yet.  Probably next Monday.  *groans*

Last Thursday or Friday, I bought Man with Flower Conenzyme Q10 BB Cream and Danahan Hyoyong Whitening Sun Cream SPF50++  (sunblock, actually) from Credit Beauty counter.  Actually I wanted BB cream only (and saw this product featured in some female/fashion magazines)  ... ,however, the lady consultant tried to convince me to get Danahan Hyoyong Whitening Sun Cream (contains deer antler and ginseng ingredients )  and it's having 50% sales for GSS (i think).  I didn't think that Danahan Hyoyong costs almost 100 bucks. 

Probably use Sun Cream once the current sun block is drying.

Yes, I am switching to put on BB cream on face for work. Not so messy.  Feeling like no foundation on face.  Will take photo before/after look if I have more time in the morning. :)

Of course, hopefully I can see some improvement on my face soon ...

A pimple on eyelid ... or called "style"

My left eyelid was hurt yesterday (and still hurt now) but this morning .... eyelid became swollen. (yes, still swelling)  *oh my god!*  I wasn't sure what caused, but my eyeball isn't red at all.

So, after work,  I went down to my fave optical shop and the optometrist lady (correct term?)  confirmed that I've got eye bumps (styles), or known as "pimples"

Definition : A stye is an infection that affects the oil glands in the eyelids. It takes on the appearance of a small pimple or boil and can develop on the either of the eyelids at the area where the lashes meet the lids. It develops when a sebaceous gland gets clogged by bacteria and becomes infected.

Treatment : Use Johnson's baby shampoo with no tear, wash on both eyelids from right (no infection) to left.  Because pimples do spread.*Yikes*   Takes 2 weeks (at least) to recover *groans*... meanwhile, no eye contact lens for me >_< 

Honesty, I am NOT used to no eye makeup for work.  HELP me!!

short one - rants movies

Become a Movie-lover *again*

Not in the cinema theatre.

But, in the living room, where my miserable flat screen (I wanted to upgrade 42"), is rested.

Watched a couple of rental DVD movies past few nights. *getting less beauty sleep*

How did last 4 months gone so quick!

Anyway, I just splurged in some semi-precious stone jewelries.  Soon, I will order Garden of Wisdom's beauty products and ... got frequent visit to Watson or Sasa stores.

Wait, I want to become a millionaire when I hit 45 .. but lor, I don't have a regular saving habit. 

Shall I look for a "golden turtle"? *grins*

I luv Fasio waterproof and smudge mascara in the past.  Maybe I should re-visit them.
